eFile - Electronically file SAR

eFile is an optional module within Suspicious Activity Reporting software. Once a Suspicious Activity Report is completed, the eFile module lets you electronically file the completed SAR. The SAR data is electronically sent to FinCEN's Detroit computing center.

The eFile module is based on SAR Magnetic Media filing specifications as described under SAR-SF and are based on FinCEN form 101-July 2004 Release.

The eFile module lets you electronically complete the following :

  • 1A - Transmitter Record

  • 2A - Parent Financial Institution Record

  • 2B - Broker Dealer Branch Record

  • 3A - Suspicious Activity Record

  • 4A - Subject Information Record

  • 5A - Information Explanation Record

  • 9A - Branch Summary Record

  • 9B - Broker-Dealer Parent Summary Record

  • 9Z - File Summary Record

In addition the eFile module can correctly identify/cross check Standard Country/State abbreviations as well as standard attachment abbreviations.
